uTorrent is one of the popular and most used BitTorrent clients right now.
The standards settings provide the average performance and resource usage for your Windows PC. Which is enough for the regular user.
But there are few tricks to increase your uTorrent download speed. Which we going to look at this blog post.
Select “Options” then click “Preferences” or Click “Ctrl + p”
Setting One: General Settings
Click the “General” tab and at the “When Downloading” section of the General tab. Make sure that all these three options which I have shown in the image are checked.
Settings Two: BandWidth
1: Goto Speedtest.net and test your connection speed in it and note the upload rate and the enter the lower value then what you have noted from Speedtest.net in the maximum upload rate section.
2: In ” Number of Connections ” Section
2.1: Add 200 to maximum number of connection
2.2: Add 200 to Maximum number of conected peers per torrent. You can increase the number if you bandwidth are high.
And hit ok.

In the BitTorrent section, make the Outgoing enable in the ” Protocol Encryption ” section.

In Queue setting, Set the maximum number of the torrent to 8 and the maximum number of active download to 5 if you have more then 1 Mbps. For my case, i need only two files to get download at the same time, so I have set to 2.

Once you finish queueing settings you need to close and re-launch the uTorrent for the change to take effect.
